The Reiss Profile is the first test which illustrates the complete impulse and basic desire structure of a person. It works without any typology and reduces the person not to some "absolute" desires; hence, it differs from all present motivational or personality concepts.
Like a fingerprint every person owns his individual basic desire profile, which gives information about the characetristics of the 16 basic desires of Reiss.
Through controlled self-reflection (coaching) the basics of one's own behavioral manners are indicated in the Reiss Profile. The knowledge won should then help to live life more successfully in the professional and private sphere.
The Reiss principle works with 16 needs and values: The Basic Desires.
